Women Empowerment
Jeevan Setu Foundation is a driving force in women empowerment, rolling out comprehensive programs designed to ignite independence, build essential skills, and nurture leadership qualities among underprivileged women throughout India. From vocational training in tailoring, handicrafts, and digital literacy that open doors to sustainable livelihoods, to self-defense workshops and financial literacy sessions that promote economic self-reliance, these initiatives holistically address barriers holding women back. The foundation also prioritizes health awareness through camps on maternal care, nutrition, and menstrual hygiene, while fostering community participation via women’s self-help groups that encourage collective decision-making and advocacy. By transforming lives one woman at a time—equipping them with confidence, resources, and networks—these efforts create ripple effects of progress, uplifting families, strengthening communities, and paving the way for a more gender-equitable society.
Skill Development Training
Vocational workshops teach sewing, tailoring, handicrafts, and digital skills to enable women to start home-based businesses or secure local employment. Training includes market linkages for selling products, promoting financial independence.
Health & Awareness Camps
Special women’s health camps offer free screenings for anemia, cancer, and reproductive health, alongside nutrition education and hygiene workshops. These sessions empower women with knowledge to make informed health decisions for themselves and families.
Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
Formation and support of SHGs provide microfinance access, savings schemes, and leadership training to build entrepreneurial women leaders in rural areas. Groups focus on collective bargaining for better wages and community advocacy.
Leadership Workshops
Capacity-building sessions train women on rights, legal awareness, and governance participation to strengthen their voice in family and village decisions. This promotes gender equality through active community involvement.
